Collection description
The present thesis deals with the nonlinear stability analysis of some reaction-diffusion models of interest in applied sciences and biomathematics. In particular, some epidemiological models and a system modeling fluid motions in horizontal porous layers are taking into account. Via some peculiar Liapunov functionals, the optimal result of coincidence between linear and nonlinear stability thresholds is obtained.
