Collection description

The general aim of this dissertation is to find a link between structure and function of peculiar wood anatomical traits such as Intra-Annual Density Fluctuations in Mediterranean species tree rings, focusing on Quercus ilex L., which may help in the study of the influence of climatic factors on tree growth. This study provided information on the ecological behavior and vulnerability of the species, which would be helpful for the improvement of the implementation of forest management options.
