Abstract
Anaplastic thyorid cancer is the most lethal subtype of thyroid carcinoma and it is characterized by
local invasion, distant metastasis, chemo and radio-resistance. We have identify new molecular determinants involved in thyroid cancer progression: TUSC2 and the adhesion molecule JAM-A. We stably transfected TUSC2 and JAM-A in papillary (TPC-1) and anaplastic(8505C) thyroid cancer cells and studied their effects on proliferation, migration and invasion.
