fedOA (Federico II Open Archive) is the open repository for digital documents of the University of Naples Federico II.

In the spirit of the Open Access Initiative, fedOA aims to promote the free online dissemination of the scholarly output of the University's faculty and researchers, in accordance with the Messina Declaration (the Italian declaration supporting the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities).

Through fedOA, the University of Naples Federico II archives and provides access to the full text of doctoral theses.

Starting in August 2026, doctoral theses will also be deposited through www.fedoa.unina.it.
