Abstract
The main objective of this thesis is to conceptualise a vision of gender identity within the diversity that take into account the not-well-explored linkages between individual and organizational identity, reasoning where visible and hidden discrimination come from. More than other methods, CDA looks adaptable to analyse the context of discrimination based on people characteristics (such as gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity).
This thesis is mainly qualitative, and it would be based on desk-based research, in-depth interviews and focus groups taken on a set of public organization in a UK county.
