Abstract

Digital dentistry has revolutionized the way dental practitioners diagnose, plan, and treat various dental conditions. The use of advanced digital technologies such as intraoral scanners, digital radiography, computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) systems, and 3D printing has significantly reduced the time and effort required for some traditional dental treatments. The materials used in digital dentistry have also improved, allowing for better and more efficient treatment outcomes, enhancing the patient experience by reducing the need for invasive procedures and minimizing discomfort. In order to contribute to the continuous development of digital dentistry and ensure clinical success, it is crucial to possess a profound knowledge of these technologies and materials.
