Abstract
[Italiano]: Durante la seconda metà del diciannovesimo secolo, diversi membri del movimento neokantiano iniziarono a interessarsi a Schiller, per la prima volta considerandolo non solo come poeta e drammaturgo, ma anche come filosofo e, soprattutto, filosofo kantiano. Gli autori dei contributi raccolti in questo libro ricostruiscono il modo in cui vari pensatori neokantiani si sono confrontati con il pensiero di Schiller. Il libro mette così in luce il ruolo fondamentale che il neokantismo ha svolto nella scoperta della filosofia di Schiller, così come il ruolo fondamentale che la filosofia di Schiller ha svolto nello sviluppo del neokantismo./[English]:During the second half of the nineteenth century, several members of the Neo-Kantian movement became interested in Schiller. For the first time, he was regarded not only as a poet and dramatist, but also as a philosopher — and, above all, as a Kantian philosopher. The authors of the contributions collected in this book reconstruct how various Neo-Kantian thinkers engaged with Schiller. Thus, the book illuminates the pivotal role that neo-Kantianism played in the discovery of Schiller’s philosophy as well as the pivotal role that Schiller’s philosophy played in the shaping of neo-Kantianism.
