Collection description
The aim of this thesis is to present some regularity results for local solutions to certain classes of elliptic problems where the energy density of the integral functional satisfies p-growth and p- ellipticity conditions with respect to the gradient variable, with 1<p<2. The peculiarities due to the sub-quadratic growth conditions combine with the fact that the derivatives of the energy density with respect to the gradient variable are assumed to belong to some Sobolev or Besov-Lipschitz space, as functions of the spatial variable x. Both unconstrained and obstacle problems are treated, and most of the results deal with higher differentiability of solutions.
